GEOFFREY DUESTERBECK, McIntosh County Extention Agent, demonstrated how to make a Shiitake Mushroom log. After drilling the fresh cut oak log, mushroom spores were implanted and then sealed with wax. Now the waiting begins (about 2 years before production!)
