Katherine Taylor completed her residency with Ashantilly Press on September 12. Although Hurricane Dorian interrupted her work, she nonetheless was able to find direction in her art. Side note: although we avoided Dorian, Katherine’s hometown, Halifax, Nova Scotia did not!
The residency opened with a “Meet and Greet” gathering and a showing of the Letterpress film “Pressing On”, complete with popcorn! A closing reception at the Print Shop offered opportunity to print a small broadside that Katherine had set on the Vandercook.
