On Saturday, October 4, the Ashantilly Center came alive with music, laughter, and the mouthwatering aroma of barbecue during its Tunes & BBQ event. Guests gathered on the grounds of historic Ashantilly under the great live oaks to enjoy an evening of community, great food, and lively entertainment.
Local favorite Squirt Gun kept the crowd on their feet all night long with an energetic set that had everyone dancing, singing, and smiling under the autumn sky. Their upbeat tunes created the perfect backdrop for a relaxed evening of fun and fellowship.
Dinner was a true Southern feast — guests enjoyed pulled pork or pulled pork sandwiches, accompanied by classic baked beans and coleslaw, with the sweet finale of banana pudding for dessert. To wash it all down, attendees had their choice of beer, wine, lemonade, sweet tea, and water.
The night was filled with good company, great music, and plenty of hometown spirit. It was clear from the laughter and applause that a good time was had by all.
