Introduction to Letterpress Printing

Ashantilly Center is offering an Introductory Class to Letterpress Printing this August, led by Sara Blocker and Nick Silberg. This hands-on course will span three classes, giving participants a chance to learn the fundamentals of letterpress printing using Ashantilly’s historic presses. All supplies are provided and you walk away with your very own printed project. This is a very hands on class.

This three-week class is perfect for beginners and enthusiasts alike:

Week 1: Learn letterpress terminology, safety, and simple printing techniques

Week 2: Dive into typesetting and start your own project

Week 3: Finalize and complete your unique printed piece

Each two hour class will be held on Sunday, August 10, 17, and 24 from 2 until 5 p.m.
