Three Events: Book Talks and Signings for The Last Laird of Sapelo

Calling all those who are interested in the Thomas Spalding family of McIntosh County. Author Mike Brown will be launching his newest book, a historical fiction, “The Last Laird of Sapelo” about Randolph Spalding.

Three events will take place on Thursday, August 17:

There will be a book signing at The Local Exchange. The Local Exchange will carry the historical novel, The Last Laird of Sapelo. Stop by and get your copy signed. Share a bite to eat at the store and talk a little about the story of Randolph Spalding and Sapelo Island.

There will be a book talk at the Ida Hilton Public Library. Meet Georgia author T.M. Brown as he discusses his new historical novel “The Last Laird of Sapelo.”

T.M. Brown is known for popular Georgia novels in the Shiloh Mystery series. “The Last Laird of Sapelo” is a historical fiction work inspired by the life of Sapelo Island scion Randolph Spalding during the American Civil War.

There will be a book talk and book signing at the Fort King George Visitors Center. Hosted by Ashantilly Center & Lower Altamaha River Historical Society. Author, T. M. Brown will present a book talk entitled: From Shiloh to Sapelo, the journey in writng the historical novel, The Last Laird of Sapelo.

Learn about the historical events and characters depicted in the story found in The Last Laird of Sapelo. It will be followed by a book signing.
