The Ashantilly Center in Darien, Georgia, is delighted to announce that Sarah Shebaro has been selected as the Summer 2025 Artist-in-Residence. Sarah will spend three weeks in July at the historic Ashantilly Print Shop.

An accomplished printmaker and book artist based in Knoxville, Tennessee, Sarah brings a wealth of experience in letterpress printing, she is known for her dynamic approach to traditional printmaking, often blending historical methods with contemporary aesthetics. Her work has been featured in various exhibitions and workshops.

During her residency, Sarah will utilize Ashantilly’s historic press to produce prints and book art projects. The residency will culminate in a public closing reception on Wednesday, July 23, from 5 to 7 p.m. Attendees can view Sarah’s creations and learn more about her artistic process.

The Ashantilly Artist-in-Residence program offers artists the opportunity to immerse themselves in a setting steeped in history and natural beauty.
