Introduction to Letterpress Class

The Ashantilly Press is offering an Introductory Class to Letterpress Printing Class this November, led by Sara Blocker and Nick Silberg. This hands-on course will span three classes, giving participants a chance to learn the fundamentals of letterpress printing using Ashantilly’s historic presses. All supplies are provided and you walk away with your very own printed project. This is a very hands on class.

This three-week class is perfect for beginners and enthusiasts alike:

Week 1: Learn letterpress terminology, safety, and simple printing techniques

Week 2: Dive into typesetting and start your own project

Week 3: Finalize and complete your unique printed piece

Each three hour class will be held on Sunday, November 1, 8, and 15, from 2 to 5 p.m.
