Linoleum Block Carving Class

Learn Linocut in a weekend with Nicholas Silberg. Linoleum block carving, or linocut, is a relief printmaking technique where you carve a design in a block of linoleum.

All supplies are included.

You will learn:

• Honing your carving tools

• Carve, then proof on a manual press, correct errors, and then print on a Vandercook flat-bed press

• Ink selection and mixing colors

• Paper selection

Please bring your personal carving tools if you have them; if you do not have your own tools, tools will be provided.

This is a two-day event. Saturday, April 25, and Sunday, April 26, from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.

There are six seats available for this exclusive class.
