You’re Invited to the Annual Ashantilly Ice Cream Churn-Off!

Mark your calendars for Sunday, September 6, from 4 to 6 p.m. and join us at the beautiful Ashantilly Center for the Annual Ice Cream Churn-Off!

Spend a relaxing afternoon under the oaks enjoying homemade ice cream, music, a raffle, FREE lemonade, water, and popcorn. Bring your lawn chairs, bring a little cash, and come ready to sample everything from classic ice cream favorites to wonderfully creative new flavors!

Admission is a $5 donation, which includes two tasting tickets to sample ice cream from any of our churn-off competitors. Want to try even more? Purchase three additional tastes for just $5! As you sample, don’t forget to vote for your favorites by placing your ticket stubs in the contestant’s voting container. Every taste helps decide this year’s winners!

Feeling lucky? Raffle tickets will also be available for $1 each.

Think You’ve Got a Winning Recipe?

We’d love to have you compete! Whether your specialty is old-fashioned vanilla, decadent chocolate, or a one-of-a-kind flavor, join the fun and show off your ice cream-making skills.

All competitors must register in advance. Because of the summer heat, participants are asked to bring two (2) quarts of pre-made, frozen ice cream. Ashantilly Center will provide tasting cups, spoons, and ice. For food safety, please do not include raw eggs in your recipe.
