Hannah Batsel, book artist, writer, and illustrator, is from Chicago, Illinois. Originally from Marietta, Georgia. She recieved a BFA in Printmaking and Book Arts from the University of Georgia in 2011 and her MFA from Columbia College Chicago in 2016. Hannah is known for intricate book arts, printmaking, and storytelling. Her work often explores themes of mythology, history, and narrative with a distinct visual style that blends meticulous detail and playful elements.
