A Joyful Holiday Gathering at Ashantilly Center’s Holiday Open House

Despite stormy weather outside, the warmth inside Ashantilly Center was undeniable at this year’s Holiday Open House. The evening welcomed an impressive turnout, with friends, both familiar and new, gathering to celebrate the season together. It was a joy to reconnect with old friends, share laughter, and extend heartfelt wishes for a joyful holiday season and a Happy New Year.

The house itself was nothing short of magical. Thanks to the creativity and dedication of our amazing volunteers and board members, every nook and cranny of Ashantilly was beautifully adorned. Magnolia greens and winter-red berries filled the rooms, creating a timeless Southern holiday feel that felt both elegant and inviting.

At the heart of it all stood a stunning Carolina Spruce, beautifully lit and decorated, casting a soft glow that perfectly set the tone for the evening.

As guests mingled throughout the house, they enjoyed sipping mulled wine and festive punch, adding warmth and cheer to the rainy night. The sounds of the season filled the air thanks to local children who provided music, a sweet and memorable touch that made the evening even more special.

A lovely arrangement of delicious cookies and holiday nibbles awaited guests, offering the perfect accompaniment to good conversation and festive spirits.

All in all, it was a grand evening and a beautiful way to welcome the holiday season. Surrounded by tradition, community, and holiday cheer, the Christmas Open House reminded us just how special this time of year, and this place, truly is.
