What a Sweet Day at Ashantilly!

What a wonderful afternoon at the 15th Annual Ashantilly Churn-Off! We were thrilled to see so many friends, neighbors, families, and ice cream lovers come out to enjoy a beautiful day on Ashantilly’s front lawn.

A gathering of people under tents in a park setting, with various individuals engaged in conversation and activities, surrounded by lush greenery.

With 13 delicious ice cream flavors to taste, there was certainly something for everyone! From the first scoop to the last vote, there was plenty of good-natured competition and, of course, lots of ice cream. The beautiful weather made the afternoon even sweeter.

And now, for our winners!

Organization/Business Winner:
Fort King George State Historic Park for their delicious Blackberry Buttermilk ice cream

Individual Winner:
John Love for his irresistible Caramel Pecan

People’s Choice Winner:
Brad Franklin for his crowd-pleasing Chunky Monkey

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who came out and supported the Ashantilly Center. Your enthusiasm, generosity, and love for this special place mean so much to us. Events like the Churn-Off are made possible by our donors, sponsors, members, volunteers, board members, and wonderful community, and we are truly grateful for each and every one of you.

Thank you to all of our talented churners, judges, volunteers, supporters, and, most of all, everyone who joined us for a deliciously fun afternoon!

Until next year… keep churning!
